Jeremy Klein
Hero you never knew you needed
Jeremy Klein, a former pro skater, helped Tony Hawk with Birdhouse before he went off on his own and started selling what was undoubtedly my favorite gear, Hook-Ups. He maintains a skater owned business, jkindustries.com, and we have the utmost respect for him and hope you buy his stuff (I still do and pretty much only wear my own gear these days so not much more of a compliment I can give.)
Buy stuff from this guy.

I do not own this logo or any portion of the rights or organization.
You know Thrasher but back in the day if you did not live in Cali or NY, getting quality gear was tough. These guys made it happen and went out of their way to do so, even accepting CoD (look it up) thus helping me become the person that I am today. Respect.

Def does not gaf and we love it. I hope I get to see him someday. I started with “Motorola” but quickly followed it up with pretty much the whole “Sethany” album.

I have found myself coming back to him although it took me a while to warm up. He has a bit of a rough style that is straightforward and f/ck anyone who doesn’t get it…Poser can definitely relate. Check out “Coke in the Bathroom” and “Scumbag” for a start.

You probably know this one by now but he still deserves a mention because of his insane talent and personality which sadly cost the world both about three months after his first album was released. Check out “Save that shit,” “Absolute in doubt,” “16 lines,” and “Benz Truck” and watch his videos as I feel they really help convey the aforementioned much more clearly.

While I have stumbled upon his work before, this morning, driving in, I cannot stop liking everything that pops up. His beats really get me going and the energy is in line with my underlying anger. In particular try "driving with my eyes closed" and "numb" but don't forget to check out "lostcause" feat (heylog) as well. I'd love to see him do something with 93FEETOFSMOKE as I sometimes find bits of his stuff reminding me that energy and of them a little.

It is so hard to find his stuff in the U.S. since his native language's alphabet is not the same as english. Despite not understanding a word of his lyrics I keep coming back to his work. Check out "Lovely" and "Yeyo!" and keep going. I would recommend more but I do not have the appropriate keyboard to type the names. It won't matter though just check him out.

"every night i loose you," "exit life," and "back2sleep" have become a staple in my rotation but he really has a lot of great stuff. A dark hyperpop vibe that is way more upbeat than most of the lyrics might indicate which is part of the hook. The idea that this is even music might be debated by some, but to me that is what solidifies him as an artist. This is further emphasized by the amazing pieces he composes.

Impressive artist who shows up with other favorites but who has really started making a name for himself. His work is a bit more angry and a little more trap and I am pretty sure there is some Russian in there somewhere which is unique and intriguing. So many great places to start but I started with the album “Lonewolf.” Check out “Swan Dive” and “All Black Fit” if you want a taste.

Not what I was expecting but a great sound I find a little closer to the punk/alt side and his energy really makes it so much more fun. Check out ”How will I rest in peace if I’m buried by a Highway?//.” Another one I keep coming back to is ”silence is also an answer//.”

So you likely know who this is as he brought life to a type of music that is known as cloudrap. Still, just because he has reached a world wide level of fame after his early release "Ginseng Strip 2002" (at least for an 'underground' artist) does not mean his talent should go unrecognized. Check out "Kyoto" and "Yoshi City" but I also really like "Agony" despite the different style than what I usually hear with him, especially knowing the tragedy he suffered and carries with him.

Prolly a bit more emo than some of these others, I find myself coming back to his album "Bummer" when I work out and especially when I go for a run. His energy is always present but there are still great troughs that emphasize the crests and really get the heart going. You can really just hit play on that album but, for me, "PPL THT I LUV THE MOST" and "LIE SELLER (feat. Clipped)" are great if you want a taste...the first one is free.

A bit heavier in some respects than what has previously been posted but no less amazing. Definitely great when working out or if you are looking to just change it up a little. The majority of work seems to be as singles or on EP but do not let that deter you. Check out "Ted Bundy" and "Fifty Shades" to get you acclimated. I also really like "American Idol" and "Kisses With Your Mask On" so enjoy and keep on the look out for more from this artist.

I started with this artist because of a song he did with Steven Moses. Once I heard "Gaslight!" he became a staple in the rotation but it did not take long for me to dive into his other work. Check out "Kids on Drugs" and "Lexapro" which is a song about the antidepressant's side effect which was later added to the side effect profile. He is a chill kind of emorap and I highly recommend him.

I could not stop listening to this artist for a long time. "Highschool" was my entry point but once I got into his style I played the entire album/ep, "post death" and "singles" every morning for months. His chill style makes it easy to float along in the dark dreamy world he paints. He is definately worth checking out and if you do not get it then listen a few more times because when you do it is so worth it.

If you like Hyperpop then meet one of the epitomes of the genre. His sound and vocals come together in a way that is synergistic which is the opposite of what one might expect if you heard them separately. His vocals are brilliantly distorted just enough to make it work beautifully while still making one want to listen carefully to hear them. Such is his genius. I find myself liking his stuff more and more but I started with "reside" and "oblivious" which I feel are great introductions to his work and style but I love throwing on some headphones and leandancing to the likes of "welcome to the end (feat. sewerperson)" as well as "coincidence" and "The War II."

He first released an album around 2013 before changing his moniker to EDEN. He has a record label called MCMXCV. His music is a lot of things but I kind of think of it as almost emo/trap or cloudrap but with very obvious foundations in early Hyperpop. I started with his ep album "I think you think too much of me" but his artistic personality is seen in all of his work. He has been an influence on many musicians and I love how he has pushed boundries for the industry. Check out "Gravity" or "Drugs" to start.
Jan 21, 2023, Dallas, TX, House of Blues - Prior to coming out I recommend you keep AirDrop on because he is interactive like that, which I freakin' loved about him. He put on a great show and he definitely deserves way more credit for what he has done for the scene than most people realize.
